San Francisco's Municipal Railway has assembled one of the most diverse collections of vintage streetcars, trolleys, and trams in transit service anywhere. Up to 20 or more of these wonderful vintage vehicles carry passengers along Market Street and The Embarcadero every single day.
On the F-line Right Now
The icons below show you which GPS-equipped streetcars are operating on the F-line right now. Click on each streetcar icon to go to a page of information about that car. Click here to go to a NextBus map showing which streetcar is where on the line right now.
All the PCCs and Milan trams have GPS installed, as do most of the older operable historic streetcars. On rare occasions, streetcars without GPS may be on the line; or GPS may malfunction, but generally this map is quite accurate.
